Research Reactor

The Archaeometry Laboratory at the University of Missouri Research Reactor (MURR) supports research in Archaeology and related fields by employing various physical and chemical techniques to examine ancient artifacts and study their sourcing, trade, technology, and use. The Archaeometry Lab regularly offers positions for Undergraduate student research assistants studying subjects related to Archaeology. Through funding from the National Science Foundation (NSF), the Lab also supports internships for graduate students working on lab-based thesis research in provenance or migration studies. For more information on the programs, eligibility criteria, and research facilities see the links below.
