Erica Rose Hampton is a first-year PhD student in the Languages and Literatures study track. She completed her M.A. thesis, which examined the development of Persephone and Demeter mythology throughout time, including adaptations written in the Late Antique period, Medieval period, and modern times. She is excited to work on further developing some of her work on  the Latin poet Claudian and the Late Antique period for her dissertation.
