Bio

My academic and research interests include environmental and geoarchaeology, Roman Scotland and the
Picts, Mediterranean archaeology, geospatial remote sensing and GIS, landscape archaeology, and
machine/deep learning methods. I have participated in archaeological excavations in Italy, Turkey, and
the state of Kansas.

I completed an M.A. in Ancient Mediterranean Studies (Archaeology) and a graduate certificate in
Geographic Information Science in 2024 at the University of Missouri-Columbia. The title of my M.A. thesis
was Use Wear as an Archaeological Landscape.

I earned a B.A. from the University of Kansas in 2022 double majoring in Classical Antiquity (Archaeology)
and Classical Languages. For my undergraduate honors thesis I designed and built a UAV based LiDAR
sensor.

I also hold a B.S. and master’s degree in information systems from Friends University.

I am currently pursuing my PhD in Ancient Mediterranean Studies (Archaeology) and an M.A. in Anthropology (Archaeology) at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
